This Privacy Policy explains how Pawlively collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information when you visit pawlively.com, create an AI pet preview, place an order or contact us. Pawlively's store is powered by Shopify.
Information we collect
- Contact and order information: name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, order details and customer-support messages.
- Payment information: payment details are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. Pawlively does not receive or store your complete payment card number.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, cookies, pages viewed and interactions with the store, subject to applicable consent requirements.
- Customization content: pet photos you upload, generated artwork and previews, selected style, edge color, pet name or other instructions, AI session and artwork identifiers, and the production file associated with your order.
- Preview and email activity: the email address you optionally provide for preview delivery, whether a preview email was requested or sent, use of a private preview return link, and related cart activity.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide the requested AI preview; prepare, manufacture and deliver personalized products; send requested preview, order and tracking emails; restore a selected design through a private link; provide customer support; prevent fraud and misuse; improve service reliability; comply with law; and protect our rights. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and can be unsubscribed from separately.
Pet photos and AI processing
When you request an AI preview, the uploaded photo and instructions are processed through Pawlively's AI service and third-party AI image-generation and API infrastructure providers. The original photo, generated preview and production artwork may be stored on Pawlively-controlled hosting so the preview can be displayed, emailed, restored and used to fulfill an order.
We do not sell uploaded pet photos. We do not use a customer's uploaded pet photo or generated artwork in public advertising or social-media content without separate permission from that customer.
Email preview delivery and private links
If you enter an email address before generating, we use it to send the requested preview and a private return link. Preview email is transactional and does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. Private return links generally expire after 30 days. Anyone who receives such a link may be able to open the associated preview, so please do not share it publicly.
How we disclose information
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the service, including to Shopify; payment processors; hosting, security and IT providers; AI image-generation and API infrastructure providers; Google/Gmail for requested email delivery; analytics or advertising providers subject to applicable consent and opt-out rights; manufacturers and fulfillment partners; shipping carriers; professional advisers; and government authorities where required by law.

Data retention
We retain uploaded photos, generated previews, production artwork, order records and related activity only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide previews, fulfill and support an order, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements and meet legal obligations. A preview link expiring does not necessarily mean the underlying files have been deleted. You may request deletion at any time; we may retain information that is still required for an active order, legal compliance or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS in transit and restricted administrative access. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information; to limit or object to certain processing; to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information as defined by applicable law; and to appeal a decision. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
International processing
Pawlively, Shopify and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, legally recognized safeguards are used for international transfers.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, vendors, security practices or legal obligations. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date.

Include enough information for us to locate the relevant preview or order, such as your order number, preview email address or AI session ID.
